Bluewater is, as the name indicated, a hook for the real freight trains of the tropical salt. Giant trevally (GT's), sailfish, marlin, barracudas, tarpon, tuna – even sharks. This hooks has the point and the strength to handle everything you care to throw a fly at. Aside from tropical species, the larger sizes from 5/0 - 8/0 are excellent for tying the largest of bunker/huge baitfish patterns for targeting giant stripers on fly (think Beast Fleyes).
